The desks

I asked Tom to draw a plan of the space in the cyrpt where the choristers rehearse, the choir practice room. Here it is.

So from left to right, clockwise, there's the first desk, second and third desks. The dots represent the probationers and Tom is on the far right, second from the end.

'HCH' is the head chorister, so clearly the different ages are mixed up and they sit at the same places from practice to practice. In the middle is the choir master's grand piano.

Thanks for spotting my blog and commenting. I've had a read through yours and it has been very helpful, especially since I woke up this morning in tears at 4 am. Yesterday was our open day and he is so keen to get in now. Our Director of music wants to speak to me on Monday and now it just seems like it is all going to happen so fast. But this has helped calm me down....a bit. Thanks!
